Photography is communication; and the voice of people and merchandise is the detail Sok Lin delivers incredibly well in her photographic images. Hers is a journey from passion to profession and along the way, perfecting the art of listening and interpreting.

 

An active commercial and fine-arts photographer at Studio DL, Sok Lin’s craft is beyond the pitch of retail photography. Her work is a visual thread of honesty and artistry. A photographic statement that is felt when seen.

 

Sok Lin’s early days as a photojournalist with Iowa City Press-Citizen has influenced her veristic documentary of humanity. Vividly unfolding the human story, her musings with the camera also shows the way nature paints a narrative.
